I also manage the nurse, therapist and volunteer team and I am responsible for raising cancer awareness and the work of The Bracken Trust in the community.”
“I joined Bracken Trust in November 2016 and have several years of senior management and leadership experience. My role is to manage The Trust and ensure that it maintains the high standard of care and support that our patients deserve. I consider myself very lucky to have such a great role and to have a fantastic team of staff and volunteers who help me achieve this.”

“Hi, my name is Gaynor James and I am the administrator and fundraiser here at The Trust. I started working here in September 2013. My usual days of work are Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.”
“I joined the bracken trust in November 2016 as the Finance Manager, I have spent several years working in a financial department, my role is to manage the trusts accounts. My current work pattern is Monday and Wednesday 9 to 5”.
Hazel Morgan & Mandy Blakeley
Are our Reception/Administration team and joined the bracken trust in April 2019.
Hazel’s work pattern is Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday 9am-5pm, whilst Mandy covers Wednesday, Thursday & Friday 9am-5pm

“My background in nursing has primarily been within the community, as a district or respiratory nurse caring for people in their own homes. This often involved nursing people who had been affected by cancer. My priority is to provide individualised care and support to not only the patient, but also their families and carers.”

As registered mental health nurse she has experience of nursing in a variety of care settings, including Palliative Care.

Ysy Gwyn is an Acupuncturist and Member of The British Acupuncture Council.
Sharon Spence is our Vodder Lymphoedema Therapist; and experienced Reiki, Reflexology and Massage Therapist.
Oksana Davies is a qualified and experienced therapist offering reflexology, aromatherapy, a range of massages and body therapy including hot stones, facials, Reiki, M-Technique (a very gentle stroking technique).
Sarah Davies is a Registered Mental Health Nurse, and a qualified complementary therapist who offers Massage, Reflexology, Reiki and Bowen Technique.
Sylvia Wilkinson is a Bowen Therapist and member of the British Complementary Medicine Association. 20 years experienced practitioner in Reflexology, Aromatherapy, Allergy Therapist, Reiki & Emmet Technique. Also former tutor of Holistic Therapy at Coleg Powys and currently teaching Bowen Technique for C.B.S.
Sandra Sankey is a Reiki Practitioner, Reflexologist, Massage Therapist and Aromatherapist.
Matthew Ward is a BACP Counsellor and Mindfulness Instructor.
